Logbook for Motor Yachts

Yachtlantis is the electronic logbook for motor yachts at sea. Logbook, maintenance, trip wallet, anchor watch and on-board chat sit in one app, with no server of your own.

What a leg records

Every trip records itself: GPS track, weather, harbours and consumption. Nothing is entered twice, and at the end of the season the trip stands as it happened.

Position is recorded through the phone's GPS. No extra hardware is needed for that; where an NMEA 2000 gateway is on board, the readings from the boat's network are added.

Which tier opens what

The full logbook is unlocked from the Pro tier, and so are GPS recording and GPX export. Export as PDF and as an Excel sheet is unlocked from the Skipper tier, together with the fuel log.

Live data from the NMEA 2000 network belongs to the Ultimate tier. That mapping lives at a single place in the source and applies to the interface and the server alike.

Why a logbook made for motor yachts

A motor yacht is run in engine hours, not in nautical miles alone. Consumption, revolutions and running hours are the numbers maintenance hangs on — and those are the numbers a motor-yacht logbook carries.

Anyone sharing the boat needs a second account of it: who ran which leg. The logbook is the source the trip wallet and the owner-group settlement read from.

Yachtlantis is built for motor yachts at sea — for the sole owner, for the family, for charter and for an owner group. Maintenance counts in engine hours, the trip wallet splits by share or by usage, and the anchor watch measures with the device already on board.

The full-width dashboard also belongs to the Pro tier, together with passage planning and weather routing. What separates one tier from the next sits in a single table in the source, not in a marketing claim.
