Who pays whom
The trip wallet is unlocked from the Pro tier. Its own page carries the who-pays-whom list — not just the total, but the settlement name by name and amount by amount.
What comes up on board is recorded: fuel, berths, maintenance. Every expense belongs to one trip and to whoever paid it.
Three settlement models for an owner group
Settling the running costs of an owner group belongs to the Ultimate tier. Three models are on offer: fixed by share, by usage, or mixed — all three can be chosen, none is announced.
The settlement period is the calendar year, from the first of January to the thirty-first of December. It is not a season, and it cannot be shifted.
As long as the split has not been confirmed, the app shows the question and not a settlement. A number the owners have not agreed on is not presented as a result.
What usage-based really attributes
Usage-based attributes a leg to the skipper who ran it — not to everyone who was aboard. That is a decision, not an approximation; anyone wanting a different split takes the mixed model or the share.
Crew management, where the names come from, is unlocked from the Pro tier; the owner group itself belongs to the Ultimate tier.
In the mixed model, what falls due regardless is separated from what goes with the running. Which cost categories count as fixed is for the group to decide; everything else is distributed by usage.
The trip wallet sits on the same logbook as maintenance. A leg is written once and read twice: once as a trip, once as the basis of the split. So there is no second list to keep, and no two numbers about the same trip.
